lyrics
Everyone's gonna be out at Basement Friday
I could hop on the red eye tonight from Oakland
It's a long way to get there from California
I don't know maybe I’ll make it to the next one
When we've got to leave
Where we gonna go?
Where there's water in the air
And people that we know?
Maybe in the end
This all ends up a dream
Always good to feel
Like you're really being seen
Don't know where we'll be when it ends
If you're there with me
It might as well be in heaven
Come in the spring
It's so nice
I'll show you a place I found
Trying to get the time off
Nobody comes around

A friend with a reliably fine musical taste posted this album on FB and I wasn't disappointed. Love the guitar sound and the passionate vocals (melodic enough to not pass as screamo or whatever). Punk rock spirit yet with a lot of dynamics (definitely a yes to the Dischord reference) and compact songs that won't leave your head for a long time. Many many
great tunes on here but for the moment USMA and Lay Low have to be my favorites! Great band, very happy to have found them! perpendikel
Rising Philadelphia band balance oversized pop punk hooks with vivid, intimate lyrics, presenting a raw, honest vision of guitar music. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 30, 2022
More feel-good indie from Brooklyn's A Great Big Pile of Leaves, all bristling guitar tones and expansive choruses. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 18, 2021

A truly stunning album that mentally transports you to foggy early morning streets, the pavement wet from recent rains. Dreary, but in a comforting way. Like sitting next to a window during a rainstorm, listening to the drops hit the glass while remaining warm. Never fails to make me feel safe. Crow Yo
