lyrics
I spent so much time dreaming
I almost forgot what it was like
Outside my head
I missed a call today
That I meant to return
But it's so easy to forget
Now it's been so long
What's happening
Learning what it means to know yourself
Too much time alone is maddening
Different just enough that you can tell
I spent too much
No hesitation
Took off without letting anyone know i was going
After midnight at home
Missed our anniversary
I don't feel good
When I 'm thinking too much about myself
Slept in again until it felt too late to do a single thing
I said I would
Lately I found it hard to care about the things
That used to make me feel so good
Everybody thinks that what we mean
When we say that we're bored
Is bored of God
I couldn't help but laugh
When I started to spin off of the road
On highway 1
I ever tell you how I love waking up
When you come to bed at like 5 in the morning
And want to burn it down
Still got loving in your eyes
I been thinking about 2015
Falling in love on that night in Orlando
Or when you got the l
And I found out you love to dance

A friend with a reliably fine musical taste posted this album on FB and I wasn't disappointed. Love the guitar sound and the passionate vocals (melodic enough to not pass as screamo or whatever). Punk rock spirit yet with a lot of dynamics (definitely a yes to the Dischord reference) and compact songs that won't leave your head for a long time. Many many
great tunes on here but for the moment USMA and Lay Low have to be my favorites! Great band, very happy to have found them! perpendikel
Rising Philadelphia band balance oversized pop punk hooks with vivid, intimate lyrics, presenting a raw, honest vision of guitar music. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 30, 2022
More feel-good indie from Brooklyn's A Great Big Pile of Leaves, all bristling guitar tones and expansive choruses. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 18, 2021

A truly stunning album that mentally transports you to foggy early morning streets, the pavement wet from recent rains. Dreary, but in a comforting way. Like sitting next to a window during a rainstorm, listening to the drops hit the glass while remaining warm. Never fails to make me feel safe. Crow Yo
